The homeowners had been living in this home for a few years and knew that it was time to renovate the Main Floor and make it their own. The biggest area of change in the Forest Hill Main Floor Update was the kitchen, as their desire was to double its size by removing a wall and extending the cabinetry down the entire length of the wall. As the family entertained often, high on their wish list was a full 36” wide fridge and freezer, as well as a beverage station by the patio doors leading to their backyard pool.
We also wanted to address the entry, powder room, family and dining room so that these spaces were inviting and functional and a cohesive design flowed from room to room.
We removed the standard drywall closet in the entry and added customized millwork that now meets their storage needs and looks chic and organized. In the powder room, floor to ceiling tiles were removed and a clean, crisp aesthetic now resides with beautiful sconces and a wall mounted vanity. Included in this Main Floor Update, the living room fireplace was refreshed, and the built-ins in the dining room were painted a deeper color creating contrast.
With new lighting, furniture & accessories, along with the stunning kitchen design, this Forest Hill main floor update is just incredible! The client is loving her new space and enjoying all the storage and comfort in her newly renovated home.
